Happened to have a stellar experience with the service department at Holiday Ford on multiple visits.
This review has been long overdue and I'll get right to it. I purchased a used Mustang Mach E in London, Ont...but live in Peterborough, so I needed someone local for service.
Then I read some mixed & not so good reviews of the local dealership in Peterborough. However, I cautiously decided to take a chance with them and see for myself.
I was honestly surprised with the level of service I received on all of my four visits, yes four!
The first time I visited them was before I even purchased the Mach E, and had the pleasure of meeting the assistant manager Stephen. I wasn't even a customer yet, and I wasn't even buying from their dealership. He took the VIN, did a history search on their systems and gave me all the tips & information I would need to go ahead with the deal. It was a busy morning with appointments and he sure didn't have to do that.
Second time was a few weeks after my purchase, I needed to get a recall done. There were no issues there. They kept it for a day and by evening, a young kid from sales (forget the name) came and picked me up and I was all set. The recall was seamless.
Third time, I was close to my 60K 3 Year warranty deadline and I wanted to get the car fully checked including the brakes, 12V and HVB condition. I asked for a brake fluid flush to be done too. Laura was my service advisor this time. Again, by the end of the day I got a full report and was advised to save my money as the brake fluid was still good and did not need to be done yet.
Lastly just recently, I had an annoying popping noise from the front suspension whenever I went over bumps at low speeds. I made an appointment and Jake was my service advisor. They were extremely busy that day and by the afternoon he called to say that they were able to confirm both sway bar end links needed to be replaced, however they could not complete it within the day. They held on to the vehicle, completed the job the very next afternoon and now it's soundless & as good a new. Also on a side note, they covered it under my warranty even though I brought the car in past the required mileage.
I'm not saying they are the dream dealership. All dealerships have issues, some more - some less. What I'm saying is they always seem to try their best inspite of what it may look like. The universe tends to mirror what you give and I went in with a positive mentality and received a positive outcome. Each and every time they delivered. Period.
There are still some things which I don't approve of, like brining the car in at 7:30 am (I'm not a morning person) when they may not get to it until the afternoon but that's their system I guess. Cell phone service inside sucks too...lol. It's like a damn bunker.
But all in all - Great job guys!
A few other dealerships could learn a thing or two from you guys.
